House in Yanakacho

We designed the exterior curtains and coordinated the interior curtains of the house in Yanakacho, which was designed by Kasai Taiga + Chung Ehyang Architects. With the outer curtain that softly divides the space, you can freely adjust the enclosed space and the open space, and change the space according to various scenes. From the story of wanting to make it a place open to children in the neighborhood, I wanted to enjoy the curtain as one of the playsets, so I designed a pattern with a dot pattern like a peephole. Through the holes at various heights, Children find new ways to play, and you can feel the growth depending on the position of the holes you can see. カサイタイガ＋チョンエヒャン建築事務所が手掛けた住宅 House in Yanakacho の外カーテンのデザインと室内カーテンのコーディネートをしました。 やわらかく空間を区切る外カーテンによって、囲われた内の空間と外部に開けた空間を自在に調節し、さまざまなシーンに応じて空間を変化させることができます。 近所のこどもたちにもひらけた場所にしたいというお話から、カーテンも遊具の一つとして楽しんでもらえたらと思い、覗き穴のようにドット柄の穴をあけたパターンをデザインしました。さまざまな高さにあいた穴を通して、新しい遊びがうまれたり、覗ける穴の位置によって成長を感じたりと、こどもたちの日々に優しく寄り添う存在を目指してデザインしました。
